Today I called upon the Health Secretary to guarantee improved dental services in Southend West and Leigh, to ensure that everyone who needs an NHS dentist is able to get an appointment with one.

Today (Friday 19th January) Anna Firth MP’s Pet Abduction Bill passed its Second Reading in the House of Commons. This follows the First Reading which took place on 6th December 2023.
I am absolutely delighted with today’s King’s speech, it puts forward a serious legislative programme focused on the future, taking difficult but necessary long-term decisions that will change this country for the better.
