Last Thursday 18th April 2024, Huw Merriman MP, Minister for Rail and HS2, visited Chalkwell station following a promise made to me during Transport Questions in the House of Commons.
On Saturday 18th May 2024, I will once again take part in a charity abseil challenge, this time to raise money for the Spotlight Radiotherapy Appeal at Southend Hospital.

On Tuesday 9th April I was really pleased to welcome the Rt Hon Victoria Atkins, Secretary of State for Health, to Southend Hospital. I invited the Health Secretary to show her the outstanding work being done at Southend which leads the way in treating fractures, cancer and emergency cases.
