The Southend West MP supported the Hunting Trophies (Import Prohibition) Bill as it passed its Third Reading in the House of Commons on Friday the 17th of March.

Since the 1980s, an estimated 25,000 animals which have been slaughtered have been brought into the UK.

The force has expanded by 900 officers over the last five years and now numbers are over 3,700, with 83 more in Southend.
