Southend West needs a local champion to build on Sir David Amess’s legacy. And I have a plan to do just that - putting our area first.
Sir David fought for local residents every single day — in Parliament and in Southend West. He had a fantastic reputation as a good man who would always turn up to meet local residents at community events.
After Sir David’s tragic death, we need an MP who can build on his legacy, and continue to deliver for local people.
At this by-election, I'm proud to pledge to be that hardworking local MP who will continue Sir David’s work and deliver safer streets, more investment and better healthcare for Southend West.
