Today outside Erith School Anna Firth launched her local referendum to give the people of Erith & Thamesmead a say on whether they want English laws to be decided only by English MPs. 

Pensioner bonds reward savers in Erith & Thamesmead

Anna Firth has welcomed the launch of a new Government-backed bond for pensioners available NOW which offers people over the age of 65 higher interest rates so that they can grow their savings in retirement.

Anna Firth joins the panel at a conference to discuss ‘Who Cares About the Family?’ in Parliament. The event, organised by campaign group Mothers at Home Matter was held on 27th January and focused on the economics of family life and the dilemmas faced by modern UK families.

Out and About in Erith and Thamesmead

. Erith & Thamesmead Conservatives Hit the Doorsteps Again   Erith & Thamesmead Conservative Action Team hit the doorsteps again on Saturday.  It was great to be joined by Conservative Councillors Cllr Philip Read, Cllr Peter Reader and Cllr Melvin Seymour and also by SE Conservative Future co-ordinator, Elizabeth Anderson, and to listen to resident's concerns on Hythe Avenue and the Pantiles.  We got a very positive welcome and many offers of support.  Residents were concerned about the EU, immigration but most of all want to see the economy continue to recover under a Conservative government. 

Campaign Meeting - We Have a Plan!

Like all Campaigns we need a goal, a team and a plan. Meeting with the Association officers and other Team Firth members tonight busy completing my priorities and looking forward to feedback.

 I am delighted and honoured that  Erith and Thamesmead Association have chosen me as  Parliamentary Candidate for Erith and Thamesmead. I promised to hit the ground running so I will be out and about in the Constituency a t 9am tomorrow, to get the campaign ball rolling!    

Mothers at Home Matter "Who Cares for the Family"

I believe that when Mothers speak, the voices of children are heard. And it’s not just children but older relatives too that need support from their own families. Policies must be balanced to support every choice not just focus on supporting more outsourced care. More families are pressed for family time and find it hard to focus on relationships in an ever-busier world with so many different stresses and strains.
