It was fantastic to welcome George Freeman MP on his first visit as Minister for Transport to Canterbury. I explained to him that we need more trains and an eastern A28 by-pass to alleviate congestion & air pollution in Canterbury itself .
Fourteen years ago I picked up the phone and rang my local Conservative office. I did not want to deliver leaflets, I did not want to go to meetings and I had never heard of a campaign day! I was simply outraged at the Labour Government’s policy on education, and I wanted to have my say.
