Canterbury residents ask Anna

It was such a pleasure to be interviewed by Edd Withers on behalf of Canterbury residents last week and I encourage those who weren’t able to take part by joining live to go back and watch the recording on the CRG Facebook page here:

As I highlighted in this interview, my very first action as your MP will be to continue to pursue the funding this constituency needs for the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, with the Health Secretary, who has promised that the hospital will get the investment it needs if we return a Conservative majority to Parliament.

I was also pleased to set out the Conservative Party record and plans for protecting the environment.

Locally, I will continue to speak with Canterbury City Council to ensure alternative proposals for the Wincheap Park and Ride expansion are considered carefully.

These, along with more police, better roads and more school funding, are my pledges to you- the residents of Canterbury and Whitstable- if you elect me as your MP, to ensure that our constituency thrives.

Thank you to Edd for being a fantastic interviewer and thank you to all who engaged with the live stream by asking such important questions of your candidates.

As your MP, my priority will always be to represent the constituents of Canterbury, Whitstable and the surrounding villages. It would be the privilege of my life to be elected on Thursday 12 December and I will continue to give it everything to deliver on the things that Canterbury and Whitstable needs.
